Lesson 13:
Create a Web Page Acknowledging the Order

By Daniel Janal
Founder, Great Teleseminars

After people order your teleseminars or teleclasses on the Internet, your shopping cart will send them to a web page that acknowledges the order. You need to create that page.

This is pretty much the same as you did with the autoresponder yesterday. It’s just another format. People need to see this for instant gratification.

First, you’ll take the information that you created from your autoresponder yesterday and put it on a web page.

Then you must tell your shopping cart the name of the page so it will display at the correct time.

The other thing that’s really good about this strategy is that you can use this page for selling additional products! Research shows people will buy additional products after they've bought the first one. We call this "upselling."

One tactic is to show them products or seminars that would appeal to them. Or you might recommend other services. Or you could recommend other services or products that they would want to take advantage of. If you follow this strategy, you'll have fewer questions, fewer returns and more sales.

They’ll get confirmation via the web browser and they’ll also get e-mail via the auto responder.

Action Steps:

* Create the acknowledgement information.
* Create a list of products and services to sell.
