Write a Follow-up Letter to Your Customers

One of the most important things you can do is to send your clients a follow-up letter via email after the teleseminar. This letter will help you with marketing and sales, so you can see it’s important.
Customer feedback. First, you’ll want feedback so you can learn how to improve. Second, you want to ask them for new topics. This is great market research for you.
Sales. You can use this message to sell additional products. You can up-sell the cassette or the CD for the seminar. Maybe they couldn’t take notes or they missed a few minutes because they had to go to the bathroom. Or maybe they liked the seminar so much they want to share the information with their colleagues, or they might want to listen to the information again. Maybe they learn by repetition. So don’t overlook the up-sell possibilities for this class and this product as well as the up-sell opportunities for future classes.
You can also promote your upcoming seminar and your previous seminars, which have been recorded to CDs or audiocassettes.
Since they now know you and your material and trust you, you have a great opportunity to sell them more products and seminars. Do it!

It should be fairly short. It shouldn’t be any longer than one computer screen of an e-mail, which is about 24 lines.
